Field Trip for Seniors

I worked out a field trip for our seniors. We went to Western Heritage Museum and Lauritzen Gardens. It should have been easier! How difficult the establishment makes it to take students anywhere.

There is so much I want them to see!

I don't know what parents are doing---but they aren't taking their children to too many places to experience new things. Out of the thirty students that got to go---only one had been there before.

Zinnias rule!

Deer do not eat zinnias. They also do not care for anything that has fuzzy or hairy leaves.

Deer do not eat bee balm either.

New School Year

I did get my Master's...and will be working toward a Phd.

I teach photography and commercial design to high school students, and I really enjoy it.

All my life, I gathered and held onto things. While gathering and hoarding, I thought, " I will share this with someone someday, because it's important for others to see this". Not really knowing WHO I was going to share these things that I had saved.

Teaching gives me a reason to share the things I saved.

I would like to post some personal work, as well as, work made by friends and students here.
I already have some art and gardening photos posted on Deviant Art...under the name "maggottea".

It has been a while since I have put anything on line. I get so seriously busy with teaching that I don't share much of my personal work. Enough excuses...
